Explore the Art of Pottery
Unleash your creativity with clay in this beginner-friendly class. Learn essential hand-building techniques like pinching, coiling, slab rolling, sculpting, carving, and assembling.
Craft your own unique pieces—mugs, bowls, plates, and more—while discovering decorative techniques like mishima and sgraffito to add personal flair. You’ll also explore finishing methods that enhance both aesthetics and durability.

Meet Your Instructor: Katie works across ceramics, printmaking, and painting, bringing years of experience to her teaching. A longtime member of the Hill Potters’ Group, she also previously worked as a ceramic technician at the Ottawa School of Art.
Completed pieces will be ready for pick-up about a week after the final session.
