Learn practical blacksmithing skills through hands-on, small-group workshops. Start with safe forge use and core hammer techniques, then apply those skills while making a finished forged project.
Beginner Level 1
No previous blacksmithing experience is required. Learn forge safety, hammer control and the foundational techniques used to shape hot steel.
Guided Project Workshops
Apply forging, filing, heat-treatment and finishing techniques while making a Railroad Spike Knife, Viking Knife or another guided project.
Private Instruction
Work one-on-one with Mark to define a project, confirm the materials and arrange two private four-hour workshop sessions.
New to blacksmithing? Begin with Learn the Basics for the clearest introduction to forge safety and core techniques. Public classes are limited to a maximum of four participants.
