Description:

Dive into the world of pottery and get your hands dirty! In this beginner-friendly class, you'll learn essential hand-building techniques, including pinching, coiling, slab rolling, sculpting, carving, and attaching.

With these skills, you’ll create functional pieces such as cups, mugs, bowls, and plates. You'll also learn how to glaze your work, making your creations microwave, dishwasher, and oven-safe.

For those interested in exploring other areas like jewelry or sculpture, these techniques can be adapted for those projects too.

Additionally, you'll be introduced to two unique decorative surface techniques: mishima and sgraffito, along with glazing techniques to bring your designs to life.

All clay used is non-toxic and food-safe. Your finished pieces will be ready for pick-up about a week after the final class.

Participants will receive 10 kg of clay, and all tools are provided.
